The theme of the conference was: The Significance of the Survival of Organic Materials from Archaeological Contexts. Individuals from seventeen countries spoke about shipwrecks, bog bodies, cenotes of sacrifice, art styles, perishable technologies, palynology, wetlands management, conservation methods, and updates on famous sites.
